This year the Tour de Bonnechere celebrates its 12th annual event on Sunday August 28, 2022. What is the Tour de Bonnechere?
The Tour de Bonnechere is an annual cycling event that has five different routes to choose from in the Ottawa Valley. Based in Eganville, Ontario, the tour is not a race but a chance to ride with like-minded people at their own pace. A potluck barbecue is offered post-ride with the enjoyment of live music and other activities. Proceeds go to local mental health initiatives and other vital community agencies.
Joining the Tour de Bonnechere is a rewarding and FUN experience in helping to raise funds for mental health programs awareness. Signature for community service hours, including high school students, can be provided.
Sponsorship Coordinator - Part-time, Volunteer Position
We are currently looking for a sponsorship coordinator for the Tour de Bonnechere. The sponsorship coordinator will aid in receiving donations from various businesses. Participation is required on the day of the event to help with the event activities and take charge of the prizes. Attendance is also required at scheduled meetings.
Volunteer Coordinator - Part-time, Volunteer Position
We are currently looking for a volunteer coordinator for the Tour de Bonnechere. The volunteer coordinator will aid in recruiting volunteers for the event and will assign the volunteers with positions. The presence of the volunteer coordinator is required on the day of the event to supervise all volunteers and help with the event activities. Attendance is also required at scheduled meetings.
Event Day Volunteers
We require people to assist in various capacities on the event day. Volunteer positions open include: kitchen, registration desk, aid stations, timing. No experience necessary! We are a friendly group and will be happy to guide you on the day of the event.
