Ride with GPS is an app that you can download for free on your mobile phone. Your phone then becomes your own cycling navigation device, a bike route mapping tool for cyclists.

Monarch of the Mountains - 100k Route
If you are looking for a challenge this is your route. It features what Canadian Cycling Magazine call the 2nd toughest climb in Ontario, The Foymount Hill. This is a Cat.3 climb of over 2.5 kms with an average 8% incline maxing out at 14%. Put together with the infamous Letterkenny Road section and we say if you can ride here, you can ride anywhere!

RIDE WITH GPS Instructions


Instructions:

           1. download the ridewithgps app if you don't already have it.

           2. on their phone's web browser go to: 

           3. click on rsvp at the bottom right corner OR  click on the ro9ute they are riding and click the "Go to Route" link. This should take them directly to the route on the app.

           4. at the bottom of the route on the app they should click the "Save" link and download the route for use offline.

           5. when it has downloaded to their phone they can exit the app and when they are ready to navigate, open the app again, click the "Library" link at the bottom, and then the "Offline" link at the top of the page.

           6. At the "offline" page they can click on the route and then click "navigate" to use it without cell data reception.
